SGA Lists is a premier hospitality staffing firm. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Cashier at a corporate cafeteria. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service to both staff and visitors. As a cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Assist customers in making menu choices and provide information about products.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients and nutritional information.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Replenish stock and keep track of inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
