Job Summary

The Copywriter is responsible for developing and maintaining brand-aligned messaging across Moultrie’s marketing and sales materials. This role supports copywriting efforts across packaging, sales materials, digital and print ads, product pages, and more, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented writer who can adapt messaging for different audiences and formats while maintaining the brand’s voice and positioning.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write and edit compelling copy for packaging, sales materials (sell sheets, presentations), print ads, digital ads, merchandising collateral, and Product Detail Pages (PDPs).
  • Develop marketing messaging for landing pages, email campaigns, and social media when needed.
  • Adapt product messaging for different channels while ensuring consistency in voice and positioning.
  • Maintain and refine Moultrie’s brand voice, ensuring alignment across all content.
  • Develop and maintain a copy style guide to streamline messaging across all Moultrie teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency across the entire Moultrie ecosystem – from app + digital assets to physical goods.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Creative teams to develop copy that supports GTM initiatives.
  • Partner with Sr. Researcher + Head of Marketing Optimization to test messaging and copy through A/B testing or other methods.
  • Refine technical product descriptions for consumer-facing manuals and other inserts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • 3 years of copywriting experience, preferably in consumer products, outdoor industry, or e-commerce.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing experience writing for packaging, advertising, and product marketing.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences, from retail buyers to end consumers.
  • Experience maintaining and applying brand guidelines across multiple channels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools (Asana), and basic familiarity with creative tools.
