Job Title: Mailroom Processor/Clerk
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Full Time HOURLY position

Job Purpose:
Under moderate supervision, this position is responsible for all support tasks in the Mailroom Department, including but not limited to receiving new mail, prepping, sorting, batching, scanning, matching, printing EOR’s and sending outgoing mail. This position requires basic operation of computers (hardware and software), while maintaining an acceptable speed and level of accuracy determined by company standards and team lead/supervisor/manager. This position will be monitored daily, weekly, and monthly for speed, accuracy, and adherence to attendance policies.
Duties:

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and faxes
• Date stamp incoming bills to be processed by bill review team
• Prepare physical bills for processing according to client instructions
• Batch bills based on specific client instructions and enter batch summary data into system
• Print completed reviews (EOR’s) and run client process reports as appropriate
• Dispatch outgoing mail, weighing, addressing, stamping, and sealing as needed and verifying proper dates and amounts on the postage meter
• Keep track of internal processing status by updating logs throughout the day
• Copy and fax office documentation, training materials, and department manuals
• Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required as an essential function of this role
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to transition from assigned task to task due to changing priorities
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Accurate typing skills (10-key by touch preferred)
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Regular, reliable and punctual work attendance
• Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, as well as ability to sort alphabetically
• Maintain a “Customer Service” attitude when dealing with other departments and upper Management
• Physically be able to stand, sit, walk, and carry up to 45 pounds throughout the day

Preferences:

• Knowledge for MS Outlook a plus
• Prior mailroom experience helpful
• Minimum one year experience and/or training in an office environment or shipping/delivery area of a warehouse
