ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: Univision Television Group, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a full-time Production Assistant to assist with duties pertaining to the production of a live newscast. YOUR DAY-DAY: + Assisting Producers and editing News material + Work with technical staff to satisfy graphic needs for shows, under supervision of Producer, Director, and Technical Director + Plan and execute any required pre-production elements + Assist the Commercial Production team with client creative + Aid in the production of our community show + Perform other duties as assigned including on camera work YOU HAVE: + College degree or trade school certification is preferred. + High School Diploma required. + Bilingual in Spanish and English. + Write news content, edit video material, and organize rundowns. + Social Media knowledge. + Knowledge of video production or broadcast environment is preferred. + Proficient in live studio operations. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. + Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities. + Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends, holidays, and early shifts. + Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. + Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and a good driving record.
