What You Will Be Doing - Establishing an AI-enhanced Program Management Office to coordinate and maximize efficiency across our $50M portfolio of 25+ educational technology initiatives
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive vendor evaluation system to objectively assess performance and redistribute resources based on measurable results
- Creating and enforcing a strategic dual-bid procurement process to maximize return on investment and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Deploying sophisticated tracking and reporting infrastructure using platforms like Linear to deliver executive-level transparency
- Facilitating seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners with clear timelines, documentation standards, and outcome measurements
What You Won’t Be Doing - Manual data entry and spreadsheet management—your role leverages technology for efficiency
- Tolerating underperforming vendors without consequences—your systems provide the authority to drive accountability
- Navigating meetings with incomplete information—your analytics will provide real-time insights before discussions begin
- Running a traditional PMO focused on bureaucratic compliance—your approach prioritizes meaningful educational outcomes
- Working with ambiguous performance indicators—you'll harness AI to quantify academic impact beyond basic progress metrics
Program Management Officer Key Responsibilities Design and execute a cutting-edge, data-informed Program Management Office that converts our $50M educational technology investment into accelerated, measurable academic achievements.
Basic Requirements - Demonstrated 10+ year track record in Program Management, Portfolio Management, or PMO Leadership, successfully managing complex, multi-project portfolios
- Proven experience overseeing technology budgets exceeding $25M with demonstrated strategic allocation expertise
- Advanced proficiency in vendor relationship management including competitive procurement processes, contract negotiations, and performance optimization
- Successful implementation of centralized project tracking systems, preferably incorporating AI capabilities (Linear, Jira, Asana, or equivalent platforms)
- Exceptional C-suite communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making
- Practical experience using artificial intelligence for workflow automation and data analytics to drive operational efficiency

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
