• Create an engaging and adaptable learning environment that encourages students' social and academic growth.
• Integrate assistive technology and methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Stay current with developments in special education practices and legal requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• A current teaching certification in Special Education.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a special education teaching role.
• Exceptional understanding of the unique needs of students with disabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and implement effective and adaptive teaching strategies.
• Experience with IEP development and implementation.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in special education strategies and best practices.
