Structural Engineer to our engineering team based in Ithaca, NY.

Your Role - Under of guidance of a Structural Engineer, perform design of building structural systems including appropriate system concepts including calculations, layout, sizing, selections, specifications and coordination.
- Perform site visits of existing structural systems for evaluation or to inspect work in progress/completed.
- Produce Structural Construction Documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Review and respond to team members on project design work, RFIs, submittals, and other construction related documents and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering (or related degree) with 4-8 years of structural experience, or Associate's degree with 8-10 years of structural experience or related work experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM with working knowledge of MS Office.
- Licensed New York PE (Professional Engineer), preferred.
- Experience working on K-12 school projects and/or in an Engineering/Architectural Consulting firm, preferred.
Anticipated Hiring Range $85,000 - $95,000. Please note that this range reflects the pay scale that Tetra Tech INE reasonably expects to pay for the role. The pay scale will also depend on various factors, such as job duties and requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
