A Day In the Life of a Summer YCAP Assistant:
This summer/seasonal YCAP Assistant is responsible for tutoring and mentoring at-risk youth. This role is part of the YMCA's Youth Community Action Project (Y-CAP), which provides services and a structured program for children between the ages of 10-14, who have been referred through the juvenile court system or the school system. Each child and their family have a personalized treatment plan that addresses their spiritual, physical, mental, and social needs. As a YCAP Assistant, you will play a crucial role in positively impacting their lives.
Summer 2025 shifts vary and fall between the hours of 7am-4pm on Monday-Thursday.
